What is the course about?
How can the impact of what we hear and feel enhance our connection to our voices? In life, we can close our eyes, yet we are unable to close our ears. The first sound we hear is the rhythm of the mother’s heartbeat. Some sounds in life will attract us, creating safety, comfort, and satisfying and sensual bodily sensation. Yet other sounds repel us, creating excess tension, stress or even a fight or flight response. By resourcing your ASMR through body-mind connection and the use of vocal sounds, gestures, rhythms and touch, you can not only reset your nervous systems, and better manage stress, but also find a deeper connection to your voice.
What will we cover?
• Warming up the voice with ASMR techniques
• Releasing hidden tensions that can interfere with opening out the voice
• Exploring the expressive range of your voice through response to sensation, touch and sound.
