Develop your effectiveness as a communicator on this fun but intensive Saturday afternoon course, delivered in the college. You'll learn powerful self- presentation techniques and life skills -chiefly aimed at business people but all are welcome.

Come and improve your vocal skills through voice production and speech exercises. Learn about self presentation, develop spontaneity and gain greater confidence in your communication skills. This is a practical course based in the college.

Discover how to enhance your vocal and physical impact and presence in many situations and become aware of habits that may hold you back from achieving your full potential. Skills include establishing rapport, assertive posture and gesture, vocal energy, projecting an effective personal style, sensitive listening and communicating with care and conviction. Do you want to sound more confident, grounded, self-assured and assertive? Improve your vocal skills through a series of exercises that will support you to become more vocally confident, expressive and dynamic without appearing arrogant.

This course will support your extended vocal development with a focus on resonance, tonality and pitch. Open to those who have completed at least one voice course previously as well as professionals looking to refresh their skills.

This innovative and one-off workshop shows you how to integrate modified Pilates movements with voice training as a holistic approach to voice, starting at breath release and progressing into phonation and resonance. Through this combination you may begin to find a link between body and voice through the core muscles of support. A fun but intensive Saturday workshop in the college.

Explore physical and non-physical techniques for self defence, developing your assertiveness, body language and more. Women of any age or fitness level are welcome to come and enhance their confidence.

Are you now a confident speaker and writer of English? Can you communicate quite easily in your daily life, understand people around you and read and write about everyday subjects? This intermediate course will help you speak, read and write about more complicated topics with greater accuracy. You will learn how to make a presentation, write formally and informally, and read about more challenging and interesting subjects. There will be reading and writing exams in July.

Improve the quality of your voice and standard of speech; articulation and expressiveness. This course will be taught in the college, is aimed primarily at student actors and is a particularly good introduction for those starting regular Voice classes on the Foundation: Acting course.

Who am I? Is there such a thing as “my true self”? These and related questions will be looked at from various philosophical perspectives.

Character voices aren’t just for cartoons. Learn the tools and techniques you need to create new and unique character voices or to accurately imitate a historical or contemporary voice for animation, stage and screen. This intensive weekend course will be in our fully equipped media studio and supported by a technician.
