A stimulating day of lectures presented by some of the UK’s most important classicists.
Join Bettany Hughes, Michael Scott and other speakers to discuss the importance of appearance, opulence and prestige from different eras and parts of the classical world. Classics Day complements the British Museum's current exhibition Luxury and power: Persia to Greece. City Lit is also offering a series of online and in-person lectures throughout the week.
