This short course will help you understand your Android smartphone, troubleshoot problems and use some of the most popular apps. By the end of the course you will be confident you can use or find out how to use the key features of your phone.

What makes a good radio presenter and podcaster? From getting the script off the page and ad-libbing to music presenting and news reading, develop your own on-air identity, working as live ‘on mic’ each week. This course will be delivered in the media studio.

Would you like to gain the most essential digital skills needed for today's workplace? Do you need to develop the foundational digital skills for today's job market? Then this is the course for you. Suitable for those who already have some knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, this course will give you the confidence to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint within the workplace so you can create documents, spreadsheets and presentations. You will learn the key skills needed to word process, handle data and produce clear digital. 53% of UK employees do not have the digital skills needed for work. You don't need to be one of them.

This course will most benefit students who experience cluttering. Some features of cluttering are:







• Speaking quickly, often with rapid bursts of speech



• Some words being unclear or mis-pronounced



• Difficulties in explaining and conveying sequences of information



• Difficulties in being understood by the listener







Cluttering can be present as the only communication challenge or alongside stammering, dyslexia and/or ADHD (formal diagnosis is not required).







This course will provide you with skills to become more aware and knowledgeable of your voice and speech. The course will also explore ways to develop effective listening and communication strategies.

Debating requires the ability to speak English persuasively in public and, crucially, to respond rapidly to other people’s objections to what you say. We will cover the theory and practice of debating, and you will progress quickly in areas of content, strategy and style. A great mental workout. This course will be taught online.
