Wenn Sie sich für deutsche Kunst interessieren und in einer freundlichen und entspannten Umgebung Ideen austauschen möchten, ist dies der richtige Kurs für Sie.
This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.
- Earphones/headphones/speakers.

What will we cover?

Wir sprechen über Künstlergemeinschaften um die Jahrhundertwende, über das Kunstschaffen während der Weimarer Republik und über den Kunstmarkt in der Zeit nach 1945 und über die Kunst der Gegenwart.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
- talk about the historical themes that have shaped the German speaking art world
- discuss some of the important artists from German speaking countries.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Suitable if you are studying at level 4 or 4/5 or have studied German for at least 4 years. This an upper intermediate course (B2).
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
This is an online class. Our courses are characterised by spoken interaction and communication. Typical activities include pair- and group work. A range of resources will be used to support your learning including presentations, hand-outs, and audio-visual material.
Homework is highly recommended to consolidate learning.
