On these courses, you will practise all four skills of English at the same time – speaking, listening, reading and writing. Most of these courses have exams, but there are some without.
You can combine these classes with our specialist ESOL courses.
What is the best course for me?

The courses are FREE to most learners if you earn less than £21, 547.50 a year or are on JSA or ESA (WRAG). They are either in the City Lit building or live online interactive classes. For online courses, you will need a computer with a microphone, a camera and the internet.
Designed for fluent non- native students and all who have completed 'English Pronunciation' stages 1 and 2. Conversation and the reading aloud of a variety of texts will help to pinpoint those pronunciation worries still to be addressed.
