What is the course about?
This one day course is designed to give you a taste of some of the main printmaking processes we offer in the print studio. It will give you a broad overall view backed up with hands on practical experience making prints to take away with you. You will gain an understanding of how printmaking works in a busy studio, safely, with an introduction to the presses and the materials. Each technique can be followed up on a longer printmaking course if you wish, and this course will give you a good base from which to decide what to do next. Printmaking in a day is fun and informative and you will see how the different processes change the prints you make and allow you to explore printmaking by making some prints yourself.
