How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Demonstration and explanations by your tutor Playing individually Playing together with the tutor Listening to other students Practising with a pianist and backing tracks Listening to flute recordings Class discussion To make progress you will need to practise regularly between classes, ideally 20 minutes on at least 5 days a week. Occasionally you will have small written assignments to complete outside of class.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
