When drawing from life, it is often the hands and feet that are the most challenging aspects of the anatomy to draw - this course will show how to simplify complex forms using structure and tone. You will make use of objective drawing techniques in charcoal and pencil and well as quick sketching.
What will we cover?
Basic anatomical structure of hands and feet. Proportion. How to simplify complex forms. Use of tone to denote volume eg charcoal and putty rubber. Foreshortening.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Some previous drawing, particularly life drawing experience, would be ideal. This class is not for beginners.
