What will we cover?

What will I achieve?

- Photograph using tethered image capture
- Output images for web and print in a professional workflow.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This is a beginners course in commercial photographic practice. It is not a beginners course in photography. There is an expectation that you are familiar with the manual controls of your camera and have basic computer skills.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

You will be taught with short talks, demonstrations, handouts and hands on group practice in our dedicated photography studio and in the local environment (weather permitting). One to one support will be provided where needed. The course also uses Google Classroom (an online teaching resource) for you to share comments with your class, download course material and upload images for group crits.
