Tutors: Trevor England'Train the Trainer' is a practical 2 day course designed to help you gain ideas for effective facilitation and managing groups. It is suitable if you are thinking of becoming a trainer and want to gain confidence in planning and facilitating the training, or if you are an experienced trainer and want to refresh your practice. You will leave with some tools and techniques that will ensure your training is engaging and productive for your learners. On day 2 you will have the opportunity to deliver a short micro-training or interactive presentation. This course will be a mixed delivery mode. Students will attend City Lit, Covent Garden, London for some of the teaching blocks and access some of the blocks online.
You will attend lecture and teaching practice blocks on the following dates.
2024: October 18th/19th November 15th/16th December 13th/14th
2025: January 10th/11th February 7th/8th March 7th/8th
April 4th/5th May 9th May 16th/17th June 13th/14th
If combined with a teaching qualification such as our GT105 Award in Education and Training, this will qualify you to teach Lipreading in the Further Education sector.
