What is the course about?
Hopi Ear Candling or Thermo-auricular Therapy was probably used in ancient times for cleansing, purifying and healing on a spiritual level, but today it is known for its more physical benefits in treating ear and sinus problems, including the removal of excess wax.
This practice is a safe, non-invasive and pleasant treatment of the ears. The candle itself is made from natural ingredients - usually 100% beeswax, but sometimes with the addition of natural herbs or essential oils. The procedure is comfortable and soothing and has a relaxing, calming effect on the whole body. Recipients of the treatment sometimes fall asleep. The treatment includes a soothing face and neck lymphatic drainage massage which helps to stimulate drainage of the lymphatic system and drain the sinuses.
