This skills based course is for upper intermediate learners of Japanese and aims to develop your communication skills while in Japan. More specifically, you are going to “visit” one of the most fascinating parts of Japan, ASAKUSA, east of Tokyo, where traditional and modern culture mixed.

Ideal if you are hoping to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N5. Also great for revising at the end of the academic year. Suitable if you have studied Japanese for at least three years.

Join this lively course to build on your basic Japanese skills. Suitable if you've studied Japanese for 1 year recently.

Learn to speak Japanese, with the emphasis on developing your listening and speaking skills. Suitable for complete beginners. Choose either an in-person course in Covent Garden or live online sessions.



We offer in-person (LJT1) and online Japanese tasters sessions (LJT2).

Improve your level of Japanese on this communicative course where you will have the opportunity to develop your oral and listening skills as well as consolidate your reading and writing skills. Suitable if you have completed Japanese 2 upper or have studied for at least 3 years recently.

Suitable if you have studied Japanese for about 6 years or have an equivalent level. Consolidate your knowledge and understanding of the structures of the Japanese language and work on more



complex grammatical structures and functions. Suitable if you have studied Japanese for about 5 years or have an equivalent level.

Start learning advanced Japanese. You will be able to understand, speak and listen to more complex expressions in Japanese in various everyday situations.







Suitable if you have studied Japanese for 5/6 years or have an equivalent level (JLPT N4 level or above). Consolidate your knowledge and understanding of the structures of the Japanese language and work on more



complex grammatical structures and functions. Suitable if you have studied Japanese for about 5 years or have an equivalent level.

Improve your level of upper intermediate Japanese. You will be able to understand, speak and listen to more complex expressions in Japanese in various everyday situations. Consolidate your knowledge and understanding of the structures of the Japanese language and work on more



complex grammatical structures and functions.







Suitable if you have studied Japanese for at least 5/6 years or have an equivalent level.

On this course you will learn to communicate more fully and fluently in a wider range of everyday situations and conversations.Suitable if you have completed 2 upper: module 2 or studied 3 years recently.

Improve your level of Japanese on this communicative course where you will have the opportunity to develop your oral and listening skills as well as consolidate your reading and writing skills. Suitable if you have completed Japanese 3 upper: module 2 or studied at least 4/5 years recently.
