Born in 2004, a new video technology enterprise, SignVideo, was founded by Jeff McWhinney, a well-known Deaf entrepreneur who fought tirelessly for equality of the Deaf and hearing communities. SignVideo introduced the videophone to the UK Deaf community, providing instant access to British Sign Language interpreting through video conferencing.
SignLive was established in 2014 by Joel Kellhofer, a serial entrepreneur and active member of the British Deaf community. Our technology is developed in-house by a team that has been working with Video Relay Services and Video Remote Interpreting for over 10 years.
Lipspeaker UK is a deaf-led client-first communication support agency and the UK’s only specialist provider of Lipspeakers and Lipspeakers with Sign.
