Would you like to see if you have a special knack for translation, perhaps with a view to doing it professionally? Come and join this interactive translation course to hone your translation skills.

Explore the art, artists and history of the Italian High Renaissance. This short course, delivered in Italian, will introduce you to some of the major figures in the history of Italian art. This module of 5 lessons will cover



Renaissance painting in Italy and each lesson will be devoted to a particular artist who is representative of their time. The course will be delivered online.

This skills-based course is for intermediate learners of Italian and is intended to improve your Italian speaking skills in everyday situations. We will be looking at both formal and informal scenarios, and the aim is to help you to feel more comfortable speaking Italian in order to improve your fluency.

This course follows the A-level syllabus and is suitable for those who would like to progress in Italian in a structured way. The course does not lead to the exam but aims to prepare you to join the Italian A Level course next year. Ideally you should have taken GCSE Italian (having achieved a grade 7, 8 or 9) or have equivalent upper intermediate knowledge. The course is divided into three parts (parts 2 and 3 will take place in term 2 and 3).

An evening revision course for learners who have done about three years of Italian and who wish to brush up on the grammar covered so far. If you feel like you could do with another look at some key grammar points, perhaps from a different angle, this course should get you feeling more confident about your grasp of Italian grammar.

Adatto a chi frequenta un corso al livello 3 lower or 3 upper oppure a chi ha una conoscenza equivalente della lingua. The history of Western art cannot be understood without an understanding of the importance of Italian art. This short course, delivered in Italian, will introduce you to some of the major figures in the history of Italian art. The first module of 5 lessons will cover Medieval painting in Italy and each lesson will be devoted to a particular artist who is representative of their time. The course will be delivered online.

This course is for intermediate and lower intermediate learners of Italian (Italian 2 Upper and Italian 3 lower, or learners in their third or fourth year of studying Italian) who would like to improve their reading skills and learn new grammar and vocabulary through reading and discussing works of Italian fiction and/or non-fiction. The texts chosen may be in the form of easy readers to facilitate understanding. The chosen texts will be written in Italian, and discussions will be in Italian, though some English may be permitted, so learners will be able to stretch themselves and feel more confident about expressing their opinion and asking questions in class.

Improve your knowledge of Italian through on this short literature course which will give you an opportunity to learn new vocabulary and practise your grammar by being exposed to authentic Italian texts. Each term learners will look at a new text and use it as a base to improve not only their reading skills but also their speaking, grammar and vocabulary.
