Enjoy the unusual urban landscape and riverside of Rotherhithe and the surrounding area of London’s old docks while gaining the skills required to photograph the natural landscape within London. Ideal for any level, those wishing to practise and hone their photography skills or build their photography portfolio with expert guidance on hand.

Explore and discover London through these photography walks, moving through locations rich in photographic potential.

The walks centre around photographing views along the River Thames, from the Aldwych area eastwards to the City, from London Bridge to the Southbank and from Westminster to the newly developed Nine Elms area. Bring your own camera and comfortable walking shoes as you capture places, spaces, objects and people.

This intensive one-day workshop introduces street portraiture photography in the vibrant Brick Lane area of East London. Guided by your tutor, you will explore approaches to photographing people in public spaces, learning how to engage with subjects, work confidently on the street, and capture authentic portraits that reflect the character and diversity of the area.

Through practical shooting sessions, you will develop skills in observation, communication, composition, and the use of natural light while creating a small series of compelling environmental portraits and candid street images.
