What is the course about?
The World, people and the environment we live in. We will look at how people live and the effect it is having on the
world. We can ask questions and try and find the answers, have discussions and go on visits. We can think about
how what we can do to make a difference.
What is climate change and how is it affecting animals, humans and the environment? We will discuss plastic
pollution, clean air, transport of the future, food waste and food miles. Investigate what organisations like Extinction Rebellion saying about what should be done to make things better. We can think about what we might want to do
ourselves to get involved.
What will we cover?
Develop research skills
Speaking in a group and putting your point across
Watch video extracts.
Make a presentation.
Go on outside visits when relevant.
We will produce a group presentation
Reading
