This class is suitable if you are new to dance or if you want to develop your existing skills and confidence.



You will discover the basics of basic modern jazz dance, learn about posture, co-ordination and essential technique. Learn warm-up exercises, turns, steps and basic kicks. Our main aim is to provide a fun practical environment where you can learn to dance.

This improvers course will focus on expanding existing knowledge of ballet technique and vocabulary and is designed to enable you to learn and execute more varied and complex movement sequences. There is an emphasis on delivering ballet technique to facilitate healthy joints, flexibility, movement quality and core strength.



Silver Swans® classes have been specifically designed for the over-55s and the improvers course is suitable for older leaners with at least 1 year of foundation ballet or Silver Swans experience.

Adapted for older learners our Silver Swans® ballet barre classes have been specifically designed for the over-55s. Ballet barre practice improves posture, strength and flexibility, focusing on the placement of the body and co-ordination. This class is suitable for those looking for a new way to exercise in a fun, relaxed learning group.

Perfect if you've never taken a ballet class before, or if you did ballet as a child and want to return. This men’s ballet course provides slow and fun training in how to use your body correctly, with a focus on correct placement, stance and posture.

Suitable for those who have completed at least one year of ballet classes or an improvers or equivalent elsewherere, and can demonstrate a confident use of classical technique. You will strengthen your classical ballet technique using barre, centre work and allegro exercises. These ballet classes are faster paced and will include more intricate combinations.

Ballet body conditioning combines specifically sequenced exercises including elements of barre, floor work and centre practice and is designed to complement studies in ballet and acting. Ideal for those who already have good physical awareness and have studied a dance discipline at a basic level.

Do you enjoy vintage social dancing events but don't have a partner? Looking to nail those moves and increase your freestyle confidence? Then this is the course for you! We will work on foot-work sequences and steps of authentic jazz dancing and Rhythm & Blues Strolls, progressing to faster pace flick kicks and turns for jive and Rock ’n' Roll dances. No partner required! This is a general level course suitable for beginners and improvers.

A friendly intensive class, that focuses on the confident execution of Flamenco dance with pleasure, passion and panache. This course is geared towards beginners (more experienced students wishing to revise the basics are also welcome). Performance opportunities throughout the year.
