Tutors: Cerys HoggWith guided listening to music forms, and singing, you will study time, form, root movement and harmonic progression, chord types, intervals, scales and modes. Learn transcribed solos and participate in playing sessions. For players who have completed terms 1 and 2 this year, and new students who have studied jazz in this way. Tutors: Cerys HoggIf you already play jazz and can recognise intervals and 7th chords in sequence, extend your aural, harmonic and rhythmic skill through the study of jazz standards and improvisation. Our sessions involve playing as an ensemble. New students who wish to join this 3rd term are welcome to apply to music@citylit.ac.uk.
