What is the course about?

While pain is always possible, suffering is definitely optional. Pain is not what you think it is. The way we experience pain and body symptoms is distorted by many different factors. We will guide you through the steps you can take in an easy and a simple way to experience that peace is always possible.

What will we cover?

Morning:
• Introduction to understanding the mechanism of pain, emotion and body symptoms.
• Drum meditation to calm the mind and body, enlivening the body’s natural healing system.
• Guided Meditation to explore the body without the minds interference.
• Breath and the impact it has on the way your body functions, including an exercise to utilise breath to increase healing in the body.

Afternoon:
• Drum meditation to relax the body and access the body’s natural rhythm of maintaining itself.
• Instruction for self care and methods to support your body’s health and well-being.
• Walking and movement meditation to explore postural deviations and the flow of natural body movements.
• Learn about the resistance and the impact it has on the body, including ways to overcome this and work with the body’s innate healing mechanism.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

- Relate to your body in a different and more relaxed way
- Discover and begin to dissolve the root cause of suffering
- Use a variety of exercises and meditation to facilitate healing in the body
- Walk and move more effectively to work with the body’s natural structure
- Understand the impact of resistance and know how to overcome its effects.
