A demanding course preparing you for the A-level exam (Edexcel). You will need to have studied Spanish for about four years or have an equivalent level to join this course (B2).



At the end of this course, you will sit an exam and, if successful, will gain a nationally recognised qualification. Exam costs are included in the fee and are not refundable.

This course will be delivered online. Please see the "How will I be taught" section for term dates. A mock exam will take place in on 28/02/2026 at our Covent Garden college. You will therefore need to make sure that you make the necessary arrangements so that you can attend in person on that date.







The official exams will also take place at our Covent Garden college during the months of May and June 2026.

This course studies the evolution of Chinese involvement in Africa, from the 1950s to the present day. Themes explored include diplomatic and defence relations, trade and commerce, politics and ideology.

From America's domestic expansion and boom in the 1950s, this online intertextual course explores the political, social and cultural context of 1950s America through a study of literature, history, music, film and art of the period. Suitable if you have studied French for about five years. The course fee includes non-refundable exam costs payable in advance and is payable in instalments.
