    Become a qualified Sports and Remedial massage therapist with our one year course in Sports Massage (Level 3, 4, 5). This course is designed for those with no prior massage qualification. We are delighted to offer, as a free add on, the ITEC Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Complementary Therapies and Sports Massage and the VTCT Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work. This course provides you with all the qualifications and training required to work as a Professional Sports Massage Therpaist. This course runs on a Friday daytime only.







    You can apply for a student loan of up to £1,417.00. Please enquire on enrollment.



    The course fee is £1417, plus an upfront fee of £1032 payable at the time of your enrolment.



    If you are unable to pay the course fee upfront, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the cost, repayable after the course ends.     Do you want to learn the digital skills you need for office work or everyday life, and gain a qualification? On this course, you will learn the core software applications required in every workplace. The course is made up of four modules: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Improving Productivity using IT. If you pass, you will receive the Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills (ECDL Extra). This course is ideal if you have some working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel, but want to be confident you can use their most essential elements.

    An opportunity to gain an A-level qualification in one year. You will study topics on the society, history and culture of contemporary Italy and will develop relevant exam skills.   5. Essential digital skills for work (Level 1)

    Are you new to computing? Do you have some digital skills but lack confidence to use them? Would you like to gain the most essential digital skills needed for today's workplace? If you need to develop the foundational digital skills for today's job market, this is the course for you. The course will give you the confidence to use digital devices and tools to collaborate and communicate efficiently with work colleagues, to create documents and presentations, and make simple spreadsheets. You will learn the transferable digital skills you need to progress, participate and express yourself in the workplace. You will also gain a qualification. 53% of UK employees do not have the digital skills needed for work. You don't need to one of them.

    Do you want to know that you can work to an outstanding level in any work environment requiring an expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access? Do you want a qualification to prove these skills? The Level 3 Certificate in IT User Skills (ECDL Advanced) will give you exceptional proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software, and will improve your productivity in using IT. You will gain all the skills you need to work at the highest level in an office environment. This course may be free if it is your first L3 qualification.     Have you always wanted to learn British Sign Language and communicate with Deaf people? Develop the skills you need to gain the level 1 BSL qualification, accredited by Signature. The fees for BSL level 1 courses include a year's subscription to Signworld.







    You may wish to study BSL without the pressure of an exam, or just for fun. We can arrange for you to be taught without a formal final assessment and you will receive a certificate of attendance.

  9. Spanish A level

    A demanding course preparing you for the A-level exam in one year. You will need to have studied Spanish for about four years or have an equivalent level to join this course (B2).



    At the end of this course, you will sit an exam and, if successful, will gain a nationally recognised qualification. Exam costs are included in the fee and are not refundable. An interview and a test are required before enrolling.   13. Sign Language Teacher Training Course

    Are you deaf and fluent in BSL? Interested to teaching BSL? This specialist BSL teacher training course leads to a national teaching qualification and includes knowledge of BSL and the Deaf Community.







    The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to teach in the post-16 education sector. This could be as a trainer in the private training industry or as a teacher/lecturer in further education







    You will attend City Lit for lecture blocks over 8 sessions from 8th October 2021 to 11th June 2022.



    The hours are 10.00-17.00 Fridays and Saturdays.

  14. Lipreading teacher training course

    Part-time 20 days spread over 10 lecture blocks







    This course will be a mixed delivery mode. Students will attend City Lit, Covent Garden, London for some of the teaching blocks and access some of the blocks online.







    You will attend lecture and teaching practice blocks on the following dates.



    2021: October 15th/16th November 12th/13th December 10th/11th



    2022: January 14th/15th February 4th/5th March 4th/5th March 25th/26th April 29th/30th May 20th/21st June 17th/18th







    If combined with a teaching qualification such as our GT105 Award in Education and Training, this will qualify you to



    teach Lipreading in the Further Education sector.

  15. Emergency First Aid at Work: QA Level 3 Award (RQF)

    Do you know what to do if there is an accident at work or someone complains of chest pains? Gain a qualification in emergency first aid and acquire the knowledge and confidence to help someone until the emergency services arrive. Please bring photographic ID.







    Please note: This course is excluded from our usual refund and transfer policy. Please ensure you read the course outline fully to ensure the course is right for you. Transfers are not possible once the course has started.
