Courses leading to a qualification

Ideal if you have completed level 3 in BSL and are ready to develop your skills to level 4 standard. This is a new way to progress onto level 6. This is a Level 4 qualification course accredited by Signature. You will work though a practical programme designed and taught by our experienced teacher.

This Level 3 course is designed for learners wishing to gain knowledge and skills of traditional practices used in UX/UI design industry sectors. On completion of the certificate, you would have the opportunity to join UX/UI design companies as an entry level UX/UI designer with some website creation/design experience or progress onto higher education.



This course is part of the government’s Free courses for Jobs initiative, providing the skills employers need and focusing on qualifications with good job opportunities and pay.



This course is free for Londoners who are on a Low-Income or on Active-Benefits or Other-Benefits or if you do not already have a full level 3 qualification. For more information click here

Are you looking to gain a qualification that will enable you to provide Facial Skincare treatments, either as an add-on to your current therapist practise, or as a stand-alone offering? Our Level 2 Award in Facial Skincare will give you a recognised qualification that will allow you to provide and develop bespoke Luxury Facial Skincare treatments to your client base, both within a salon setting and as a mobile therapist.

Become a qualified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist with our course in Sports Massage Levels 3, 4, 5. This course is designed for those with no prior massage qualification. This course provides you with the qualification and training required to work as a Professional Sports Massage Therapist. This course runs on a Friday daytime.

Do you want to be an actor but find it hard to fit the training around your other commitments? This intensive and practical accredited course, running one full day each week, provides classes in the core disciplines of acting, voice and movement, and culminates in a showing of contemporary scenework to an invited audience. Successful candidates achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Performing Arts awarded by OCN London.

Are you deaf and fluent in BSL? Interested to teaching BSL? This specialist BSL teacher training course leads to a national teaching qualification and includes knowledge of BSL and the Deaf Community.







The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to teach in the post-16 education sector. This could be as a trainer in the private training industry or as a teacher/lecturer in further education.







You will attend City Lit for lecture blocks over 8 sessions from 7th October 2022 to 10th June 2023.



The hours are 10.00-17.00 Fridays and Saturdays.

This online course will prepare you for the exam of the 'Diplôme d'études en langue française' (DELF), B2 level, in June 2024. Suitable if you have studied French for about four to five years. Part-time 20 days spread over 10 lecture blocks







This course will be a mixed delivery mode. Students will attend City Lit, Covent Garden, London for some of the teaching blocks and access some of the blocks online.







You will attend lecture and teaching practice blocks on the following dates.

2024: January 12th/13th February 2nd/3rd March 1st March 15th/16th



April 19th/20th May 17th/18th June 14th/15th







If combined with a teaching qualification such as our GT105 Award in Education and Training, this will qualify you to



teach Lipreading in the Further Education sector.

This course will help you to get confident in reading, writing and communication. You will learn to read pieces of texts, write sentences, spell correctly and use punctuation. This course has no exams.
