The origins of life continue to elude us here on Earth but maybe we can gain insights into the rarity of life by looking at our planetary neighbours, their moons and the vast population of exoplanets throughout our galaxy, the Milky Way.

Myth permeated all aspects of ancient society and much the same can be said today. Investigate the relevance and perseverance of the Greek myth and why these tales continue to fascinate.

This course explores how the concept of the ultimate particle has shaped physics since 400 BCE: the idea of what we now call atoms is nearly 2,400 years old!

Aesop’s fables have been used through history to clarify important issues within society. Investigate their perseverance through history and why they continue to be relevant today.

The course will cover basic techniques in Mime towards developing and creating worlds alongside opening your body up to expressionistic styles. Through technique and improvisational based classes we will play and explore some of the most renowned exercises in Mime and build on them. Engaging your imagination and developing your awareness of your body as a tool for theatre craft.

Have fun acting, with theatre games and character exercises. Build your confidence, meet new people while you will learn and practice the key techniques needed for performing improvised comedy scenes.
