Painting 1 offers an introduction to the basic principles and skills associated with painting. Focus on differing approaches to observational and imaginative work, whilst learning how to organise a palette, mix colours and create different textures.

Learn how to make your own clothes. This beginner's course will teach you how to use the sewing machine, as well as basic sewing techniques and processes. We start by sampling, then construct a simple garment.

Explore the delicacy and beauty of plants and flowers through the medium of drawing. Respond to their structural qualities and colours, using a range of media and taking inspiration from a rich and varied history of the subject. Suitable for all levels of experience.

Develop your creative writing skills on this practical intermediate course. You'll explore the fundamentals of fiction-writing craft, such as character and structure, and unlock your imagination to produce compelling prose. Suitable for those with some creative writing experience.

This Level 3 course is designed for learners wishing to gain knowledge and skills of traditional practices used in UX/UI design industry sectors. On completion of the certificate, you would have the opportunity to join UX/UI design companies as an entry level UX/UI designer with some website creation/design experience or progress onto higher education.



This course is part of the government’s Free courses for Jobs initiative, providing the skills employers need and focusing on qualifications with good job opportunities and pay.



The Free Courses for Jobs initiative is for Londoners aged 24 or over at the start of the course who are: on a low-income; or on certain benefits; or do not have a full level 3 qualification. For more information Click here



The course fee is £941, plus an upfront fee of £558 payable at the time of your enrolment.

This intensive three-term fiction workshop is open by selective application and interview to a maximum of ten fiction writers working at the advanced and professional levels. Please note: the deadline for applications is 27 August. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview via Zoom on 6 September.
