This is a one-day workshop about Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and its contributions to the field of education. Participants will have the opportunity to understand the basic methodology and philosophy of NLP, as well as discover their learning style, work on some of their learning blocks and improve their learning state. Students will acquire new insights in making both teaching and learning fun and easy, as well as effective.
This course will cover essential principles of NLP and then focus on the elements of NLP which study the working of our mind when we truly engage in the process of learning, thinking , memorising, communicating (sensory acuity, perceptual positions, states and anchors, filters, strategies, meta-programs).
Have some understanding of the side field of NLP
Understand the practical applications of NLP to the area of learning
Apply some techniques to your own learning or teaching issues.
Some knowledge of NLP could be useful but is not essential. This course is suitable for any body who is interested in the applications of NLP to the field of education in its widest sense. Open-mindedness and curiosity are certainly an asset. To benefit fully form this course, you need to have a reasonable level of spoken English. If you are unsure please contact an advisor or the tutor.
The session will include theory input, demonstrations, discussions, practice in small groups and pairs, feed-back.You will be encouraged to use the skills learned after the course is ended.
There will be no additional costs. The course fee will cover a number of hand-outs produced by the tutor.

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made. You can expect your tutor to give you feedback both individually and through group discussion. You will also have the oppprtunity to reflect on your learning at the end of the course and to identify future goals.
Please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses.
