A dynamic and vibrant class that combines West African dance and music with some Contemporary dance influences. The movements, energy and music will leave you energised and rejuvenated.

Skills include establishing rapport, assertive posture and gesture, vocal energy, projecting an effective personal style, sensitive listening and communicating with care and conviction. For established singers with a sound technique and proven experience of singing jazz and Latin styles. Develop your solo performance and expand your repertoire in masterclass format. You will be required to prepare repertoire of your choice on a weekly basis. This course welcomes also intermediate level jazz singers who can pledge to keep up with the weekly song preparation.

Come and practise your intermediate spoken French and develop your language skills in these topical discussion classes. Based on recordings from French television, radio news and newspaper articles.

Continue to study Latin grammar and improve your skills at reading and translating Latin texts as well as exploring Roman culture and history. Starting with Reading Latin, 2nd edition, Cambridge University Press, 2 volumes then moving on to original texts.
