A new and dynamic mentoring platform for Ceramic practitioners at all stages, designed to aid learners with technical advice, guidance, support and encouragement to help develop and push their practices forward.

This is an opportunity to enjoy the surroundings, flora and fauna of London's green spaces that have roaming deer. You will learn and practise wildlife photography skills along the way. Suitable for all levels.

Develop your painting in greater depth on this advanced course, working with a team of artist-tutors and a committed network of peer-practitioners, across a set of projects focusing on a range of contemporary themes, processes and debates. The course is intended for experienced painters with a positive and enquiring attitude to the practices and discourses of painting in its various forms, and a commitment to peer-dialogue and critical discussion. Focused and intensive studio-based weekend projects (once per month), are interspersed with weekly online tutorials, feedback, discussion and seminars. The course also features an elective element within which students can pursue an additional 12 hours on another Visual Arts course of their choice within the department.* This enables each student to develop an area of personal specialism in support of their painting practice (for example, in drawing, photography, print, digital media, etc.)

* Elective workshops and any external sessions will run on days other than those timetabled for Advanced painting, and will be subject to availability.

Explore the practical and creative skills involved in collaging for graphic design projects. Discover the ways in which the juxtaposition of found materials along with the practical elements of cutting, sticking and pasting them together can create exciting designs.

Learn introductory skills and techniques in pattern cutting and clothes making to understand the principles of the bias-cut garment and how it fits the body. This course is suitable for learners with some pattern making or clothes making experience.

This course will provide time and space each week for you to commit to working on a personal project or portfolio, alongside your peers. A tutor will be on-hand to provide support and guidance, as and when you need it.

Perhaps you have a collection of old prints, negatives or transparencies that you'd love to have digitised or perhaps you shoot film and want to reduce the cost by learning how to scan your film yourself? Learn how to do both using different methods from flatbed/film scanners to a digital camera.

Learn some exciting, low tech printmaking techniques to equip you with skills so you can easily make prints at home without the use of specialist equipment.
