Our range of part-time, weekend and evening art and design classes are taught by successful artists and practitioners to ensure you get the skills, knowledge and experience you want and deserve. From experimental painting and drawing to contemporary jewellery making, there is sure to be a course for you. Study from 1 day to 2 years, whether you are a complete beginner or a practising artist preparing for an MA. Our courses are designed with you in mind, so you get to spend more time doing what you love. New for 2020 we now offer a creative portfolio of live online courses as well as our face-face studio based teaching.

    Delve deep into the world of photography with a selection of creative projects that will support you in developing the confidence and skills required to plan, shoot and edit your own photography projects. Photography Projects 2 is the second part of a year long course that offers both knowledge and practical experience within photography, exploring its various contexts and genres. Deepen your understanding of photographic techniques, gain new skills in industry software and start developing your own personal approach to photography. This is the second part of the two-stage course, enabling you to build a comprehensive and exiting portfolio of photographic work. Students who complete both stages of the course will achieve all of the learning outcomes and will have the opportunity to present their final ideas in an exhibition.     This course is FREE if a) you live in London and your job is at risk of redundancy or b) you are either on Jobseekers' Allowance (JSA) or Employment & Support Allowance(ESA) or c) you receive other state benefits (including Universal Credit) and your monthly take home pay is less than £343.   2. Graphic design projects 2
    Course start date:  Wed 26 Jan 2022

    Location on this date:  KS - Keeley Street

    City Lit Graphic Design Part 2 provides an opportunity to pursue your enthusiasm for visual communication, developing existing design skills by taking creative risks, engage in experimental approaches to design briefs, enhance creative thinking skills and gain an insight and understanding of contemporary design practices.



    It is still possible to join the course at this stage if you have not completed Part 1, however you will need to have some prior knowledge of the basic principles used in design and prior experience using the Adobe software programmes; InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
