What is the course about?

Fitness Pilates is a fresh approach to classic Pilates, a fantastic way to identify basic posture and movement imbalances, to increase body strength from the core and work on balance. You will use the resistance band to strengthen the upper and lower body.

This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.
- Earphones/headphones/speakers.
We will contact you with joining instructions before your course starts.

What will we cover?

A variety of topics such as: standing posture and alignment; back and core work; work with resistance bands and Pilates ball (or alternatives); standing balance exercises; spinal mobility.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

• Locate and activate core muscles
• Practise lateral breathing
• Perform a variety of muscular strength and endurance exercises correctly with equipment (optional)
• Improved posture and spinal alignment.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

All levels.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

- Demonstrations
- Verbal instructions
- Practice
- Q&As.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
