What is the course about?

The course will give you an overview of 3 French cities hosting the Olympic Games this summer: Lyon, Marseille and Nice. You will learn some useful vocabulary and facts to enhance your stay in France during the Games.

What will we cover?

- Useful vocab re transport and venues and the specific sports hosted in that city.
- Places of interest (museums, monuments)
- Gastronomy and recommended shops and places to eat.
- Local language/cultural flavour (accents, habits, regional vocab).
- Regional, historic and cultural background (regional specificities and influences).

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

You will be able to make the most of your stay in France while visiting one of the French host cities of this year's Olympic Games. Or you could be inspired to visit one of the host cities after the Games.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This course is aimed at students who have studied French for at least 4-5 years recently or with an equivalent knowledge of the language. Plesae note that this course will be delivered in French.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Silvana is also a qualified Life Coach and the author of “Being You and Loving You”, a life affirming book about living with trust, and joy.
