Have you always wanted to learn British Sign Language and communicate with Deaf people? Develop the skills you need to gain the level 1 BSL qualification, accredited by Signature. The fees for BSL level 1 courses include a year's subscription to Signworld.







You may wish to study BSL without the pressure of an exam, or just for fun. We can arrange for you to be taught without a formal final assessment and you will receive a certificate of attendance.

The course fee is £1599 payable at the time of your enrolment. If you are unable to pay the course fees, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the course fee, repayable after the course ends. City Lit contemporary collage projects 1 initiates a year-long set of collage and mixed media projects designed to experiment with and examine the interplay between the two and three dimensions. You will work with a wide range of materials, on and off the wall, extending our pictorial practice into the realm of collage, painting, drawing, assemblage, bricolage, decoupage, photomontage, small scale constructions, printing and text within the context of mixed media.



Note* the course is designed in a way to enable students to either complete all three courses over the year or to come in at any stage in no particular order.

The City Lit mixed media and drawing projects course will introduce you to a wide range of exciting projects across two terms, exploring drawing, collage and printmaking, working in both two and three dimensional contexts. The course promotes and encourages engagement and experimentation with different techniques, materials and concepts, developing a portfolio of diverse and personal creative work.



This course takes place in the studio alongside students on the Ceramics Portfolio course.
