City Lit offers performing arts courses in the heart of Covent Garden in Central London during the evening, daytime and at weekends. Learn in the centre of London with our in-person courses. Our purpose-built facilities in Covent Garden mean we are ideally located and easy to get to.

    Wicked - The hugely successful Broadway and international smash hit musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winne Holzman is being made into a feature film which will be in cinemas this year. Come and explore the highlights in several variations (solos, duets and ensemble numbers) at our friendly weekend workshop. 'No one mourns the wicked', 'The Wizard and I', 'One short day', 'Popular', 'Wonderful', 'For good', 'Dancing through life' and of course 'Defying gravity' are just some of the classic songs covered. There will be plenty of oppurtunities for solos over the course of the weekend.

    This Contemporary dance class is a dynamic and fun experience based on the principles of Release-technique and some playful explorations. Simple movement phrases and tasks are built upon to develop greater awareness of the body in space and in relation to others. Floor, centre and travelling exercises lead to efficiency of movement, rhythmical and free-flowing dance sequences. There is no class on Tuesday 18 February 2025.
