- Frequency separation
- Actions for automation of repetetive tasks.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

- Edit skin tone for tone and texture
- Use advanced masking techniques to achieve seperation of different elements within an image
- Use Photoshop tools to produce industry level beauty retouching
- Understand the difference between and use as appropriate, global and macro dodge and burn.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

You will need a moderate understanding of photoshop.
Good retouching takes time to achieve, it’s not a quick fix so you will need patience.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

The course will be delivered via demonstrations in a workshop environment, so that you have the opportunity to try the methods above in a easy to understand format. The course will be supported with hand outs and weekly homework tasks that have been designed to strengthen you knowledge and guide you to fantastic retouching results.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

You will need to bring a memory stick and may wish to bring some images (Raw files or hi res tiff) to work on later in the course, but this is not essential. Please note the Photography studio uses Mac computers.PC formatted hard drives can be read from but not written to.
