Our Digital and Office Skills courses develop all your key digital and computing skills from beginner to advanced. You do not learn just the software but focus on the tasks and goals digital skills help you achieve whether analysing data at work or organising your photos on your smartphone.
You also develop the most in-demand common work and life skills such as problem-solving, analysing, decision-making, working together, attending to details and seeing the bigger picture.

Whether you are a recently redundant manager, a carer returning to work, an experienced office-worker or a retiree, our digital skills courses will help you upskill, communicate more effectively, and become a more active citizen.
You can choose long or short courses, online or in-person, with qualifications or without.

Suitable for those who already have some knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, this course will give you the confidence to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint within the workplace so you can create documents, spreadsheets and presentations. You will learn the key skills needed to word process, handle data and produce clear digital. 53% of UK employees do not have the digital skills needed for work. You don't need to be one of them.

Location on this date: Keeley StreetDo you know the basics of emailing and internet use? Are you ready to work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook? Then this course is for you. You will start learning how to word process, use spreadsheets and create presentations, vital skills in today’s world inside and outside the workplace. You will also learn the most essential aspects of Outlook so you can send and receive emails and organise them. You will develop these skills by working on key tasks such as letter-writing, budgeting, presenting and contacting work colleagues. By the end of the course you will be able to create well-presented short texts such as letters, design simple budgets and tables, produce effective and attractive presentations and email them to friends and work colleagues.
