This workshop is about having fun, recreating and learning all the famous TikTok dances - short choreographed routines set to popular songs or sounds. At the start of each class there will be a 15-20 min warm up to get you in the mood. Our professional dancer will then break down the steps and teach you how to execute and perfect them.

What is the course about?

What will we cover?

Each lesson will start with a full body group warm-up.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

Demonstrate essential stretching technique
Identify improved flexibility, strength and stamina
Perform stretches and stretch combinations with greater confidence.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

The course is suitable for all levels and abilitites.

In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Follow spoken instructions
• Use numbers to recognise rhythms within dance.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

The course has a physical approach from beginning to end. The class is tutor led and you will be taught through demonstration and explanation.

As part of the course content, your tutor may record your image for initial and ongoing assessment purposes. You are entitled to decline to participate in the recording of your image.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

Please wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement and allows you to adapt to changes in your body temperature. Suitable footwear such as Jazz shoes or trainers. Jewellery should be removed at the start of the class.

Previous credits include: Footloose (European premiere) 42nd Street, The Best of Musicals (European tour) Mamma Mia (European tour), Hercules, Chicago, Oklahoma, 101 Dalmatians, The Nutcracker, Carmen (Royal Albert Hall) The Red Balloon (Royal Opera House), Jazz Dance Company (UK Tour London Studio Centre), Aida (Royal Albert Hall), The Brown Bomber 2012 Cultural Olympiad (Sadler’s Wells Theatre) Dirty Dancing (UK Tour), Musical Rocks (German Tour), Romeo and Juliet (Sadler’s Wells Theatre – National Ballet of Canada), La Traviata ( Royal Opera House) Victor – Pina Bausch Company (Sadler’s Wells Theatre). Choreograhic credits include: "Ynfiniti" pop group (Shortlisted for Britain’s Got Talent 2014), “Peugeot” commercial and ”Cinderella” musical Hounslow Theatre to name a few. Bless also teaches for Oxford Foundation College, Kingston University, King’s College London, Hampstead University, DanceWorks, Dance Studio, Spotlight Musical Theatre (Head of Dance) and HMDT Music Company (Company Dance Teacher/Choreographer).
