Writing tutor Andrew Weale wins The Caterpillar Poetry Prize

Andrew has been teaching writing courses at City Lit for nearly 5 years. The Caterpillar Poetry Prize is an annual award of €1000 for the best-unpublished poem written by an adult for children (aged 7-11).

Congratulations to City Lit student Colin Thackery for winning Britain’s Got Talent 2019

Colin wowed the judges and viewers at home with his performance of Michael Ball’s Love Changes Everything, dedicated to his late wife. He studied lipreading and managing hearing loss for armed Forces and ex-forces personnel at City Lit with Lisa Weller in 2017 and 2018.
