Some moments in our lives are so powerful they beg to be shared with the world. This continuation course guides students in developing a memoir project that will resonate and inspire.

Come and get inky with this fun one day workshop exploring printmaking. This course will give you a basic understanding of monoprinting, relief printing and screen printing and is aimed at those who would like to explore different printmaking techniques before going on to other courses.

City Lit's most advanced, regular classes are for advanced pianists, whether  performers or specialist teachers. This course is designed to continue to develop your technique, broaden your repertoire and increase your understanding of piano playing to the highest level.

Develop your own ideas in painting with reference to the work of contemporary artists and experimental processes on this higher level course. Ideal for students who have completed Painting 2 or Painting 3 or equivalent painting courses.

Have you have passed your level 2 in BSL but need more confidence and advice before moving on to a level 3 course? You will improve the standard of your productive and receptive BSL skills to enable you to converse comfortably with a BSL user.

This course is for students and creative practitioners interested in visual language as a creative and conceptual theme. Explore and discuss ideas, theories and work by significant artists and writers to enhance and inspire the development of creative work and build an understanding of your own visual language.

Join City Lit's flagship piano repertoire project for 2025-26, The Complete Mozart Piano Sonatas. During the course of the year, participants will explore and play all 18 sonatas, culminating in a collaborative, professional quality recording. This course is split into two fifteen-week parts across the academic year; you are welcome to come to one or both parts of the project (see further details about each part below).

This off-site photographic course will have you down to the river with your camera, exploring the diverse architectural designs and structures of bridges on the Thames that connect London. Learn about their history whilst learning the secrets to successful architectural and location photography.
