Learn European Languages in London & Online

From French to Icelandic, you can choose from evening, daytime or weekend language classes with our experienced and friendly tutors. We also offer early morning sessions and intensive courses to help you learn a language at a time and in a way that suits you best. In many languages you can take an accredited course, with national and international qualifications.

Courses available both in-person and online

At City Lit, you can choose to study in-person or online. Our fantastic in-person courses are taught in our attractive campus, located in the heart of Covent Garden, central London. Here, our students can benefit from a variety of services and resources, including our café and state-of-the art equipment.

Our online courses are tailored to give you a social and interactive online learning experience, allowing you freedom to study from anywhere and with like-minded fellow classmates from all over the country without the need to travel.   1. Italian A Level
    Evening

    An opportunity to gain an A-level qualification in one year. You will study topics on the society, history and culture of contemporary Italy and will develop relevant exam skills. Suitable if you have studied Italian for about five years. The course fee includes non-refundable exam costs payable in advance and is payable in instalments.







    IMPORTANT:







    This course will be delivered online. However, a mock exam will take place in February 2025 at our central London college. You will therefore need to make sure that you make the necessary arrangements so that you can attend. The exact date will be posted when the mock exam has been set up.







    The official exams will also take place at our Covent Garden college during the months of May and June (exact dates to be confirmed). Please note that the end date of the course may change depending on when the official exams are scheduled.







    * Please note that, subject to government guidance, we might need to implement a contingency plan to be followed in the event of exam cancellations.







    **City Lit is an adult education college, so we are only able to accept candidates who are aged 19 or over. Please email languages@citylit.ac.uk for more information and/or to book an interview. Please be aware that the interview will take approximately 1 hour.
