This workshop is designed for students with some previous experience of playing castanets and Spanish dance. It offers a rich blend of history, practical technique, musicality, and coordination, focusing on how castanets integrate with Spanish dance movement.  Students will reinforce strong technical foundations, learn new rhythms, and explore fresh Spanish dance choreography. The course emphasizes musical expression and coordination, helping gain confidence and fluency while playing castanets in motion.

If you have a strong foundation in tap, come and improve your technique, and increase your understanding of syncopation and your confidence in a variety of rhythms and tempos. Tap shoes are essential.

An introduction to the fundamentals of this famous partner dance, where you will learn and practice in a supportive and fun environment. This session is part of a series of one-day workshops. You can join more than one if you wish, as the content facilitation will vary.  These playful explorations emphasise posture, connection, and coordination, and provide a practice space for like-minded enthusiasts. Suitable for both beginners and those with some prior experience. No partner needed – come alone, with a partner or with friends.

Learn how to express your physicality in a dynamic fashion and gain basic knowledge of the main principles of contemporary dance, with influences from other techniques. General level - suitable for both beginners and improvers.

If you’ve mastered the basics and want to develop your skills, our improver level course focuses on refining key fundamentals such as turns, cross-body leads, and styling. You’ll be challenged to dance to Salsa music at different tempos, building confidence as you learn and to practice more complex moves. No partner needed, part of the fun is meeting new people, but most of all enjoying yourself while learning.

Designed for the beginner or for those wanting to go back to basics. Develop knowledge and skill in this enjoyable Ballet class which provides a fun and satisfying way to improve alignment, muscle tone, flexibility and coordination. The classes will also help to improve any other dance styles you might be practicing.

This Improvers Plus course will focus on expanding existing knowledge of classical ballet technique, introducing new and more technically challenging vocabulary and movement sequences. Participants will continue to develop their understanding of musicality, artistry and performance as well as gaining the skills and experience to dance as part of a corps de ballet. The improvers plus course is suitable for older leaners 55+ with a minimum of 2 years experience of ballet at improver level.
