Improve the quality of your voice and standard of speech through relaxation, stance, breath capacity/control, articulation, forward placing and expression. This Saturday course will be delivered in the college.

This innovative and one-off workshop shows you how to integrate modified Pilates movements with voice training as a holistic approach to voice, starting at breath release and progressing into phonation and resonance. Through this combination you may begin to find a link between body and voice through the core muscles of support. A fun but intensive autumn Sunday workshop in the college.

Having an awareness of space and presence and utilising the body to help carve engaging, full-born characters is vital in theatre, whether this be during improvisation, delivering a monologue or throughout the process of a performance. It's important to have the tools to do this!



This course aims to give every member an introductory “toolkit” you can take away with you, freeing your body, exploring character technique, enhancing your improvisational and performance intuition and becoming confident in your craft.

The course aims to give you a further embodied understanding of Contemporary dance that is underpinned by Somatics practice, and other contemporary dance techniques, to bring greater flow and dynamics to your expression as you allow yourself to move from your inner space and to negotiate the flow of weight, rhythm, breath, space and time.

Investigate the role and function of Dramatherapy as a working model on this introductory course. Looking at a range of drama tools that can be used in therapeutic settings, you will develop some of the essential skills and use a range of methods to engage with others. Fun and insightful and packed with tools you can use, this is a great introduction to applying theatrical processes to therapy.

Are you working, or aiming to work, in voiceovers, podcasts or recording audio books or talking newspapers? Learn the basics of how to record and edit yourself using your home digital audio equipment.

This is a practical and intensive weekend course. Working in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, you'll explore the fundamental skills required for working on camera.

A fun and intensive weekend workshop all about the incredible world of narration. This enormous and lucrative area of the voiceover world includes e-learning, documentaries, audio books, medical/technical narration, explainer videos and more. You’ll learn how to deliver great reads from the inside out. It’s not just about the sound of your voice! This course will be delivered in the media studio.

Wicked - The hugely successful Broadway and international smash hit musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winne Holzman is being made into a feature film which will be in cinemas this year. Come and explore the highlights in several variations (solos, duets and ensemble numbers) at our friendly weekend workshop. 'No one mourns the wicked', 'The Wizard and I', 'One short day', 'Popular', 'Wonderful', 'For good', 'Dancing through life' and of course 'Defying gravity' are just some of the classic songs covered. There will be plenty of oppurtunities for solos over the course of the weekend.

Discover the fundamentals of fun, exploring what makes us laugh and what it means to be a clown. We’ll dive deep down into the funny bones of comedic genres that have lasted centuries and learn techniques in the physical style of comedy performance. No previous experience needed. Warning: a great deal of serious silliness will be had!
