    With guided listening to music forms, and singing, you will study time, form, root movement and harmonic progression, chord types, intervals, scales and modes. Learn transcribed solos and participate in playing sessions. For players who have completed terms 1 and 2 this year, and new students who have studied jazz in this way. Break week 24th May.

    If you already play jazz and can recognise intervals and 7th chords in sequence, extend your aural, harmonic and rhythmic skill through the study of jazz standards and improvisation.   9. Acting for radio: a play in a day

    Read, rehearse and record a short play in this intensive one-day workshop, taught by one of the most experienced actors in radio drama. The day will end in a recording of Artificial Shakespeare, a play for radio by Bella Basura.
