Wicked - The hugely successful Broadway and international smash hit musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winne Holzman is being made into a feature film which will be in cinemas this year. Come and explore the highlights in several variations (solos, duets and ensemble numbers) at our friendly weekend workshop. 'No one mourns the wicked', 'The Wizard and I', 'One short day', 'Popular', 'Wonderful', 'For good', 'Dancing through life' and of course 'Defying gravity' are just some of the classic songs covered. There will be plenty of oppurtunities for solos over the course of the weekend.

If you are nervous of singing in public, scared to open your mouth or just want to know how your voice works, this course is for you. Classes are fun and cover a wide range of musical styles, so there is something for everyone. Break week 17th Feb 2025.

Start singing and explore your voice in this fun, confidence-building course. These classes will introduce you to healthy use of your singing voice and basic musicianship through a selection of songs from a variety of genres.

Learn some standard repertoire and jazz protocols. Explore style, develop good timing and phrasing, breath control, and extend your vocal range. Not suitable for beginner singers but ideal for singers who are new to the jazz idiom.

Enjoy this exploration of classic soul tunes and blues vocal style and repertoire. This course follows last term's edition and new singers are welcome to join.
