Does the amount of data coming into your inbox and folders threaten to overwhelm you? Do you need to develop a system for managing information, tasks and meetings? MS Outlook and OneNote can be part of this system but for many people they feel part of the problem rather than the solution. This course will enable them to work for you not the other way round. You will focus on how to think about problems, solve them and what you are trying to achieve. You will work on developing an email routine that allows you to concentrate on tasks at hand and not be distracted by incoming messages. SharePoint is an increasingly common collaboration tool across workplaces, vital for keeping staff informed as well as enabling them to work together across projects. On this course, you will focus on the purpose of SharePoint, when to use it and how it fits into your business communications. You will learn how to create a Team Site, lay out the site effectively, manage your files within the Document Library, work on and share your files, plus customise your site effectively. This course will prioritise what you use SharePoint for so you can situate its functions within work-based tasks and fully grasp why you are using it.
