Continue learning to speak Italian on this communicative course for near beginners, with the emphasis on the practical use of Italian and the development of your speaking and listening skills. Based on Nuovo Espresso 1 (Alma Edizioni - Italian version).

An opportunity to gain an A-level qualification in one year. You will study topics on the society, history and culture of contemporary Italy and will develop relevant exam skills. Suitable if you have studied Italian for about five years. The course fee includes non-refundable exam costs payable in advance and is payable in instalments.

This course will be delivered online. However, a mock exam will take place on Saturday 24th February 2024 at our central London college. You will therefore need to make sure that you make the necessary arrangements so that you can attend on that date.







The official exams will also take place at our Covent Garden college during the months of May and June (exact dates to be confirmed).







* Please note that, subject to government guidance, we might need to implement a contingency plan to be followed in the event of exam cancellations.

Questa classe ti offre la possibilità di consolidare il tuo livello intermedio/avanzato di Italiano. Pratica e perfeziona i punti grammaticali studiati al livello 3 upper. Il corso è basato su Caccia ai tesori. Perfetto per chi non si sente ancora pronto per un livello 4 e vuole continuare ad approfondire la grammatica.

What sells crime novels? Does knowing about the detective's other life make readers appreciate or rate their detective skills more? Why does the figure of the male detective remain so dominant in the genre, especially given that many of the texts are by female authors? We will analyse and the discuss the development of the male detective figure in recent crime fiction, including 'A certain Justice' by P.D. James, 'In the Woods' by Tana French and 'Career of Evil' by Robert Galbraith.
