A friendly intensive class, that focuses on the confident execution of Flamenco dance with pleasure, passion and panache. This course is geared towards beginners (more experienced students wishing to revise the basics are also welcome). Performance opportunities throughout the year. Please note: There is no class on Saturday 25 May 2024.

In this advanced course, you will read and translate unadapted texts by Latin authors to deepen your appreciation of their work and your knowledge of Roman culture, history and society.

Continue to study Latin grammar and improve your skills at reading and translating Latin texts as well as exploring Roman culture and history. The class is presently reading a teacher’s set of adapted readings that include a history of the Persian Wars and various horror stories from the Metamorphoses of Apuleius.

This advanced course for developing and practicing artists consists of work-based seminars facilitated by peers and artist-tutors, giving you the opportunity to develop and present your work for critical discourse. The course includes individual tutorials and mentoring, critical investigation via group crits, visits to galleries and artist-run organisations, collaborative work and discussion and debate. This course is one of the eligible programmes for application to Bloomberg New Contemporaries.

The course fee is £1200. If you are unable to pay this upfront, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the course fee, repayable after the course ends. A performance class for singers who have completed Sing jazz 1 and 2. Develop and maintain your vocal technique, jazz and blues style, presentation of repertoire, and learn relevant musicianship.
