This course follows the A-level syllabus and is suitable for those who would like to progress in Italian in a structured way. The course does not lead to the exam but aims to prepare you to join the Italian A Level course next year. Ideally you should have taken GCSE Italian (having achieved a grade 7, 8 or 9) or have equivalent upper intermediate knowledge. The course is divided into three parts (parts 2 and 3 will take place in term 2 and 3).

Practise and improve your upper intermediate Dutch in this communicative course, with the emphasis on listening and speaking skills. Suitable if you have completed 'Dutch intermediate' or have studied Dutch for about 2 years.

Discuss aspects of Russian literature and other cultural matters and learn some advanced grammar. Suitable if you have completed Russian 3 at City Lit or have actively studied the language for at least 3 years.

Designed for students who have completed 'English Pronunciation' stages 1 and 2, and those who have near native placement. Conversation and the reading aloud of a variety of texts will help to pinpoint those pronunciation worries still to be addressed when speaking English as a non-native speaker.
