  10. Developing Art Practice year 2

    This is the second year of Developing Art Practice, designed for those developing and practicing artists who have completed the first year (or equivalent - ie another advanced contemporary practice course) and are interested in working and connecting with a widening group of their creative peer group. This course is about how to sustain and maintain a creative practice within a contemporary context.



    Work-based seminars facilitated by peers and artist-tutors present the opportunity to develop and present your ongoing work for critical discourse and to continue to develop a contemporary critical language.



    The course includes individual tutorials and mentoring, critical investigation via group crits, engaging with gallery practice and artist-run organisations and the potential for collaborative work and discussion and debate. This course will be delivered onsite.

  14. Corruption and colonialism: how the past affects the present

    In large parts of the Global South, corruption is rampant but that was not always the case. By upending local values and customs and forcibly replacing indigenous institutions with Westerns structures, colonialism introduced systemic corruption on a grand scale that continues to this day.
