Analizzeremo le cause e circostanze che portarono alla nascita di questo fenomeno politico e le sue fasi evolutive.

Sei donne straordinarie che hanno fatto storia: Artemisia Gentileschi (1593-1652) per la pittura, Maria Montessori (1870-1952) per le sue teorie dell’educazione, Rita Levi-Montalcini (1909-2012) e Margherita Hack (1922-2013) per la scienza, Anna Magnani (1908-1973) per l’arte attoriale e Alda Merini (1931– 2009) per la letteratura. Attraverso queste figure femminili discuteremo di diversi temi e approfondiremo la conoscenza del panorama culturale italiano.

With proceeds going to the City Lit Student Bursary, the French Film matinée is a chance to round out the term with a fun movie matinée in the college. The film will be presented by tutor Stéphanie Radet.



The film we will be watching is Les 400 coups by François Truffaut (1959), a film about Antoine Doinel, a semi-autobiographical character and a misunderstood adolescent in Paris who struggles with his parents and teachers.
