  4. French A level

    An opportunity to gain an A-level qualification in one year. You will study topics on the society, history and culture of contemporary France and will develop relevant exam skills. Suitable if you have studied French for about five years. The course fee includes non-refundable exam costs payable in advance and is payable in instalments.







    This course will be delivered online. However, a mock exam will take place on Saturday 25th February 2023 at our central London college. You will therefore need to make sure that you make the necessary arrangements so that you can attend on that date.







    The official exams will also take place at our Covent Garden college during the months of May and June (exact dates to be confirmed).







    * Please note that, subject to government guidance, we might need to implement a contingency plan to be followed in the event of exam cancellations.

    What’s the difference between a verb and a adverb, a subject and an object, a main clause and a subordinate clause? What is a compound sentence? What does a determiner do? Understanding and analysing grammatical structure is a key component in developing your English skills whether speaking, writing or even reading. This course will provide you with all the grammar knowledge you need to become familiar with the language you use everyday and will be a very effective foundation for other work you do to improve your English. It will also assist you when you learn other languages.
