A thought-provoking workshop designed to tackle the challenges of writing about family life in creative non-fiction projects, and offer guidance on shaping personal stories into coherent, engaging narratives.

This workshop will introduce you to the culture and basics of origami, a central part of Japanese arts and crafts.



You will learn some introductory Japanese phrases, Japanese festivals and learn how to fold folk Origami pieces as well as origami decorations for Tanabata Star Festival.

Explore physical and non-physical techniques for self defence, developing your assertiveness, body language and more. Women of any age or fitness level are welcome to come and enhance their confidence.

Learn how to integrate the function of your feet more effectively into daily activities, performance or work. Find more support, strength, and springiness in your feet, and notice improvements in your posture, breathing and balance.



This course is delivered in-person at City Lit.
